Gary Moore does not believe jump racing can afford to lose £790,000 in prize-money and has called on the sport's powerbrokers to find a way to reschedule the two days lost at Lingfield due to the frost.
He had stable star Goshen and emerging Arkle hope Haddex Des Obeaux among seven declared runners for Sunday's Lingfield Winter Million card.
Moore has described the three-day festival, which sandwiches a day of all-weather racing between two days of top-quality jumps action, as "my Cheltenham" and is adamant efforts need to be made to save a meeting that caters for high-class horses who are better suited to winter ground than spring conditions.
