Today's meeting at Punchestown will go ahead as planned after the track passed its inspection on raceday morning.

Officials were forced to assess conditions following 36mm of rainfall since entries for the fixture were made, which had left the track waterlogged in places, but a drier night has helped improve conditions before the card was given the go-ahead.

A tweet from the IHRB said: "Following a track inspection at Punchestown, it is fit for racing and the ground is heavy, with the possibility of showers in the afternoon."
