Old News has lots of form that suggests he can win a race like this if he returns to his best and it's only three months since his last success over course and distance.

He is just 2lb higher here and ran well enough last time to suggest he can bounce back to form. He was beaten six lengths into seventh of 13, but raced on the often unfavoured far side of the track and shaped like he could have done better with a higher draw.

He gets that here, coming from stall seven of eight in a race where there doesn't appeal to be a great deal of pace and there is a chance he can make the places provided he is ridden prominently.
