Key year for Territories as he bids to break cover from under-the-radar ranks
Fourth generation Darley homebred worth a closer look ahead of new campaign

It's possibly unfair to say of a stallion who has sired two seven-figure offspring, including an auction house record-setter in his first two crops, that he is a little under the radar but, for the sire in question, he does seem to be at an altitude below detection point.
Darley's Group 1 Prix Jean Prat winner Territories, who was runner-up to Gleneagles in the 2,000 Guineas, is perhaps one of the more understated stallions on the Dalham Hall roster, but his progeny have demonstrated over the three seasons in which they have raced that their sire is more than capable of transmitting those brilliant genes.
The year ahead is shaping up to be a pivotal one as he stakes out new territory - his two-year-old crop is the second largest of his four crops to date and was bred on the back of the performance of his first yearlings in the sales ring.
