"It's hard to compete with them but we're never frightened of a challenge and I see our challenge getting stronger."

"We decided four years ago that we wanted to switch focus on to the winter season and it's taken a bit of time to build from the bottom up," he says.
"We've ended up buying more store horses, which has given us more bumper horses, who have then developed into novice hurdlers and novice chasers.
"I worked with Paul for a long time and he always bangs on about the young horses. If you don't have them pushing through, you're going to be in bother."
